Its mechanical designers were Submarine(series) & Higuchi Yuuichi(movies) and its characters were designed by Kogawa Tomonori. Ideon was created and directed by Yoshiyuki Tomino, and was the series he produced immediately following his most famous work, Mobile Suit Gundam. Space Runaway Ideon (伝説巨神イデオン Densetsu Kyojin Ideon), also known as Legendary Giant God Ideon, was an animated television series that aired on Japanese television from 1980 to 1981, followed by two feature films released in 1982. ![]()
